It is a 5 minute car drive from Castle College, and it is also on a direct bus route. Lots of us from the original and the advanced course have stayed there - they know about us and what we are doing!
I was nearly in South Somerset yesterday - attended a Community Music conference in Chantmartle! Is Blandford Forum too far for you to travel for a drum circle? I'm thinking about setting one up in that town.
where is south somerset?
I noticed from a message you left for Esther de Angelis that you went to Tribe of Doris- did you enjoy? I had such a fab time - maybe we bumped into each other there! What workshops did you do?

be well, and good luck! Lori
It was fabulous and I can see that I am going to be a regular dorisette. Had the most stimulating time learning songs, dances and drum sequences - although the drumming was in some ways a smaller focus than expected. Did the women's drum circle which was fab, intermediate and simon's last jam . Heaven was meeting such lovely open, talented people.
I also danced with the Orishis, did the samba with Claudio and ventured onto the dancefloor in my white skirt at the final celebration to dance within the huge drumcircle nearer the beginning of proceedings.
A gloriouss time was had by all
