I set up DrumCrazy which mainly works in schools or training teachers/education professionals. We have four full time facilitators and work all over the UK with occasional forays across Europe for conferences and suchlike.
Your most fantastic drumcircle experience to date.
After 3 hours of transient drumcircles with the scouts at their centenary celebrations, a little troupe of Ghanain Scouts started to filter in still wearing traditional costume from the celebration. They fitted in with our groove but slowly started to lift the roof. We ended with 20 minutes of traditional dances where the scout leader would start a dance with a cowbell pattern and we would all pile in behind it. They stayed for 2 hours and left us all exhausted but very happy.

What do you like about it?
I like seeing everyones faces and picking up little threads of conversation that lead nowhere.
I like hearing the mp3's with many different flavours.
What would you like more of?
I'd like less grey ghosts and more faces
I'd like more videos.

Scouts Centenary

Over two days we ran about ten hours of drumcircle at an international scout camp in the New Forest. At one point there were 6000 scouts on site. We had kit for 100 and people came and went as they pleased. The tent filled when it rained and thinned out when the sun shone. The highlight for us was the Ghanain Scout Troupe coming and joining us. First a couple of boys turned up and pumped up the drumming then a few more and after half an hour we had the whole troupe plus their leaders all drummin… Continue

Thanks John, yeah it's like life isn't it - you try too hard and it doesn't work so well, release your grip and it flows. Trouble is you forget that while your concentrating on something new.

Hi John! I can easily send you my dissertation if you're interested. It was a really good experience, and I ended up finding that it appeared to make a difference to the dyslexic children's literacy levels as well as rhythmic abilities which was great :-)

Hi John! Thanks so much! It went down a storm! I decided to do "Tooeh Tooeh" and they all loved it! I will def be keeping them up my sleeve for the future aswell. I printed the score and words for it, used percussion and introduced the harmonies and did it in the round etc. It was perfect! Thanks again! I loved the playshop and meeting everyone. Keep in touch x
