I set up DrumCrazy which mainly works in schools or training teachers/education professionals. We have four full time facilitators and work all over the UK with occasional forays across Europe for conferences and suchlike.
Your most fantastic drumcircle experience to date.
Portsmouth High School for Girls
These girls from 10 to 16 created the sweetest grooves with minimal input from me. They just locked in with complex patterns as if they had been doing it all their lives. The connection, musicality and dialogue in the group was extraordinary. When can I come back!!??

What do you like about it?
I like seeing everyones faces and picking up little threads of conversation that lead nowhere.

I'd like more videos.

scout camp in the New Forest. At one point there were 6000 scouts on
site. We had kit for 100 and people came and went as they pleased. The
tent filled when it rained and thinned out when the sun shone. The
highlight for us was the Ghanain Scout Troupe coming and joining us.
First a couple of boys turned up and pumped up the drumming then a few
more and after half an hour we had the whole troupe plus their leaders

Yes, the biggest reason that I have pain issues now, is because my drum needs to be reheaded (it has about an inch long split along one side of the rim), so I have to bang the heck out of it to get much voice. I recently got to play a djembe with a nice tight, properly tuned head, and I was like WHOA!!! the difference was amazing. heheh I need to just break out that goat skin I bought and get to it. ;)
