Drumcircle Facilitator's Forum

Creating connection with rhythm

Hi all,
Have just found and joined this wonderful forum. The videos and photos are great. However....................
I'm really interested in developing my repertoire so that I can pass on new rhythms to my students/ drum circles that I participate in etc.
Any ideas on where I can learn some. It's often difficult to break down for instance just one djembe rhythm when so many instruments are playing together.
I'm relatively new to all this and would like to improve my skills - I'm a good tutor, just need some more ideas!
Cheers all
Tansy

I found that you-tube was a great teacher. As well, I ordered a wonderful DVD called 101 Drum Circle Rhythms. I would like to give mad props to the guy that made it. You can catch a promo on youtube. Wonderful wonderful, and it helped a lot with my drumming skills. When in doubt...have fun!!
